The Red Door School receives significant funding from the Department of Education. However, these funds don't cover the full range of costs and activities, such as Speech & Language and Occupational Therapy services. We also need to fund-raise for our music and yoga classes, as well as specialist teaching aids and staff training costs.
We are also seeking sponsorship for our International Autism Conference, and the development of our community project. For all these reasons, we need to raise our own funds every year in order to maintain and develop the range of services that we provide.
