Nick on summit of KilimanjaroNick's Advanture Started on 18th Feb

Nick Baird set off on his massive trip to Africa last month. He headed off to Tanzania to attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and to raise much needed funds for the The Red Door.

Summit reached on 24th Feb . . . and here's the proof!

Mount Kilimanjaro, at 5,895 meters (19,341ft) is the highest mountain in Africa and the largest freestanding mountain in the world. Climbing it represents a huge challenge. What kept him going was the the thought of his own son with autism and knowledge that all money raised will go straight to the charity to to fund the work of the school and help the Red Door kids. "It's a really worthy cause", says Nick. Click here to make a contribution to Nick's fantastic effort.
