Our annual Table Quiz took place in The Goat Pub in Goatstown on 27th February 2010. Carina Dolly is the driver of this event, and despite previous year's successes and current year's challenges, she managed to pull it off again this year, with a great night out for everyone who took part.
She had over 30 tables all tripping over themselves with occasional correct answers to a severe brain test. But at the end of 10 gruelling rounds of qustions, Gavin Austin and his team came out on top. But aside from the quiz, there was a vast array of raffle prizes on offer, so that just about everyone went away with some prize.
All prizes were gratefully donated on the night, which meant that all proceeds went to The Red Door. And at the end of the most enjoyable night, that came to €5,259.00.
