Applied Behaviour Analysis
Autistic children, unlike typical children, will only learn with considerable help. Applied Behaviour Analysis is proven to work.
ABA is the only scientifically validated approach to working with children with autism. Studies show that nearly 50% of children receiving early intensive behavioural intervention progress to function independently and successfully in regular classrooms. The other 50% make substantial improvements, but continue to need specialised support. To quote the California Department of Education (1997),
"Research has shown that intervention and educational programming based on the principles and practices of Applied Behaviour Analysis can produce rapid, complex and durable improvements in cognitive, social-communication, play and self-help skills
